About The Position

The Sales Associate’s primary function is to sell and promote Perry Ellis merchandise by executing the company’s customer service standards. Duties include greeting customers, helping them find products or showing them how to use products, and processing purchases on the POS register. The associate helps create a positive store experience, supports sales goals, and follows store operational and visual standards.

Responsibilities

Interact with customers in a courteous and friendly manner, including maintaining eye contact and smiling.
Generate maximum sales potential in accordance with Perry Ellis customer service standards.
Build a repeat customer base through effective PE Loyalty Program data capture.
Maintain strong knowledge of products, promotions, and special events to communicate effectively with customers.
Foster a positive store experience by treating customers and staff fairly and consistently.
Maintain effective floor coverage, acknowledge every customer, and prioritize customers over assigned tasks.
Remain productive throughout the shift, using idle time to replenish products, maintain visual displays, and engage with customers.
Report to work on time.
Demonstrate flexibility with the work schedule.
Understand individual and store sales goals.
Follow all operational policies and procedures.
Follow management guidance to execute visual standards, recovery, and replenishment.
