About The Position

Kontoor Brands is seeking a PT Temporary Sales Associate for their Lee Wrangler Outlet. This role focuses on providing excellent customer service, maintaining store standards, and driving sales. The associate will engage with customers, recommend products, promote loyalty programs, and contribute to overall store performance. Responsibilities also include visual merchandising, daily operations, and loss prevention.

Requirements

  • Must be a minimum of 16 years of age or older.
  • Arrive on time for scheduled shifts.
  • Work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business.
  • Minimum availability of 12 hours per week including one weekend day.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and respectfully with customers and team members.
  • Operate office equipment and technology (i.e., cash register, computers, phones, scanners, etc.).
  • Stand and move throughout the store during scheduled shifts.
  • Walking and moving to assist customers, retrieve merchandise and recover the store.
  • Lifting and carrying, ability to maneuver and/or lift 25 lbs. regularly, and up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
  • Ability to push/pull full racks of merchandise for restocking the store.
  • Ability to reach, stretch, bend, stoop, and crouch to retrieve items from shelves, restock, and maintain store cleanliness.
  • Manual labor is required occasionally to assemble displays and/or rearrange the store layout.
  • Vision to accurately read labels, assist customers, and tasks that require attention to detail.
  • Ability to use fine manipulation, and grasp with hands to sort and organize clothing, ex. place on hangers, folding, organize in color/size order.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure excellence in customer service by upholding high retail standards.
  • Initiate conversations with customers to learn interests and suggest products.
  • Assist customers in the fitting room.
  • Recommend products aligned with customer needs through suggestive selling.
  • Build brand loyalty by promoting the rewards program and achieving sign-up goals.
  • Learn about new products and trends to better engage customers.
  • Consistently achieve personal sales targets and contribute to overall store performance.
  • Provide information and advice on product performance, features, and specifications.
  • Maintain visual merchandising standards and ensure the sales floor is clean, organized, and well-stocked.
  • Assist in daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures.
  • Accurately process transactions, handle cash, and maintain point-of-sale integrity.
  • Follow all company and store policies, processes, and procedures.
  • React quickly to all customers and/or employee injuries and report them immediately.
  • Participate in Loss Prevention Audits and comply with loss prevention policies to minimize store shrink.
