About The Position

This position is primarily responsible for assisting customers in their purchase of company products and services. The role involves handling all aspects of customer service, assisting with inventory, promoting a positive culture, and ensuring a positive shopping experience for customers. The Sales Associate also handles inbound calls, processes required paperwork accurately following ATF guidelines, quotes product features and prices, stocks products, cleans work areas, and enforces safety, health, and security rules. They are accountable for sales and quality control and must adhere to all company policies and procedures.

Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
Ability to write simple correspondence.
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide into all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Knowledge of Inventory Software; and Order Processing Systems.
Regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear.
Frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
Occasionally required to climb or balance or smell.
Must regularly lift and /or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Regularly exposed to explosives.
Occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts; fumes or airborne particles; outside weather conditions; extreme cold and extreme heat.

Responsibilities

Cleans and organizes work areas
Enforces safety, health, and security rules.
Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
