About The Position

PHOENIX Retail, LLC operates the Express and Bonobos brands. Express is a multichannel apparel brand focused on modern, confident, and effortless style. The Sales Associate joins the Express team to provide customers with a great in-store shopping experience and help with store tasks such as stocking, cleaning, and folding merchandise.

The role includes maintaining a clean, organized, safe, and inviting sales floor, checkout area, fitting room, and stock room; following company safety policies and procedures; and assisting with product launch changes in accordance with company standard operating procedures. Associates deliver the customer experience model, process transactions quickly and accurately, resolve customer service issues or escalate them to Store Management, and promote credit and loyalty programs by explaining their benefits and encouraging participation. Other essential functions may be assigned by a supervisor.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 0–2 years of relevant job experience, with a minimum of 6 months.
• Proficiency using technology such as iPads and registers.
• Availability that meets defined criteria, including nights, weekends, and non-business hours.
• Ability to meet the position's physical requirements.
• Customer service skills and ability to interact with customers.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, particularly with customers, the sales leadership team, and associates.
• Demonstrated collaborative skills and ability to work well within a team.

Nice To Haves

• Previous retail experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customers with a great in-store shopping experience and deliver all aspects of the customer experience model.
• Assist with stocking, cleaning, folding merchandise, and other store tasks.
• Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, checkout, fitting room, and stock room so the store is safe and inviting.
• Follow company policies and procedures to ensure the safety of associates and customers.
• Assist with product launch changes according to company standard operating procedures.
• Process transactions quickly and accurately to reduce customer wait times.
• Resolve customer service issues positively, determine an appropriate resolution or escalate the issue, and communicate issues and resolutions to Store Management.
• Explain credit and loyalty program benefits and encourage customers to participate.
• Perform other essential functions as directed by a supervisor.
