About The Position

The Sales Associate creates an outstanding optical experience for Target Optical guests by combining product knowledge, experience, and a personable approach with guests’ needs and the store’s fashion brands. The role involves connecting with customers, helping them find suitable eyewear, recommending solutions based on lifestyle and preferences, and supporting a welcoming and well-maintained store environment. Associates collaborate with teammates and leadership and contribute to an inclusive, respectful workplace.

Requirements

Enthusiasm for helping others and creating great customer experiences.
Strong communication skills to engage customers and drive sales in a dynamic environment.
Comfort using technology to enhance the customer experience and accuracy with transactions.
Interest in eyewear and fashion trends, with the ability to help customers find a suitable look.
Self-motivation, resilience, adaptability in a fast-paced environment, and willingness to learn and grow.
Retail or customer service experience is a plus.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience in optical retail or familiarity with optical products.
