About The Position

We’re looking for a high-activity, results-driven Sales Associate who thrives on outbound prospecting and the challenge of building pipeline from the ground up. This role is perfect for someone who loves the hustle of sales - picking up the phone, crafting creative outreach, and driving meaningful conversations with prospective customers. You’ll be responsible for generating new business opportunities through a mix of research, outbound engagement, and event participation. Working closely with Account Executives, you’ll strategically target accounts, identify decision-makers, and create qualified opportunities that lead to real growth. The ideal candidate has a strong “activity drives results” mentality and a genuine passion for connecting with people. You’ll combine strategy and execution, from researching accounts and leveraging AI-driven tools to representing Juniper Square with professionalism, curiosity, and enthusiasm. This is a high-impact role with clear opportunities for growth into an Account Executive position.

Requirements

  • Proven Cold Calling Experience
  • Demonstrated success in a prior sales or business development role that involved daily/weekly calling and emailing KPIs.
  • Relevant Bachelor's degree preferred (Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, etc.)
  • Experience attending industry events and driving interest
  • Experience with designing and executing outbound campaigns.
  • A track record of consistently meeting or exceeding monthly/quarterly quotas.
  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, ZoomInfo, Outreach, LinkedIn SalesNav, etc.
  • Experience in SaaS or financial technology sales.
  • Consistent use of AI across sales workflows and building repeatable processes.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience building multi-step, AI-enabled workflows (e.g., chaining account research → account plan → personalized outreach sequence).
  • Private markets industry experience.

Responsibilities

  • Generate and Qualify Leads: Execute targeted outbound prospecting through calls, emails, and LinkedIn outreach to generate new business opportunities.
  • Maintain consistent activity levels (300+ calls and 200+ emails per week) while focusing on quality conversations and qualified meetings.
  • Drive Pipeline Growth: Identify and engage prospects within both assigned and unassigned territories, uncovering new opportunities across the private markets space.
  • Partner with your assigned Account Executives to develop territory strategies, share insights, and align outreach efforts.
  • Work AI-First: Use AI tools (e.g., Claude) consistently across the core sales workflow, build a repeatable AI-assisted deal-prep process, and speak credibly to prospects about how Juniper Square supports AI-enabled fund operations and demonstrate that fluency in how you work.
  • Leverage Modern Sales Tools: Use LinkedIn Sales Navigator, AI-driven prospecting platforms, and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) to build and manage a clean, organized pipeline.
  • Spot Trigger Events and Buying Signals: Monitor industry news, funding announcements, acquisitions, leadership changes, and other trigger events to identify timely outreach opportunities.
  • Use news alerts, research tools, and social signals to personalize outreach and connect with prospects when interest is highest.
  • Engage in Events: Support and attend industry events, conferences, and webinars to identify prospects and build relationships.
  • Manage pre- and post-event outreach including invitations, follow-ups, and lead nurturing to convert interest into meetings.
  • Become a Product and Industry Expert: Develop a deep understanding of Juniper Square’s platform and the value it delivers to real estate private equity and other private market investors.
  • Confidently articulate our value proposition to senior decision-makers and tailor messaging to their unique needs.
