About The Position

The Sales Associate at LensCrafters helps provide a high-quality experience in eye care and eyewear for every patient and customer. The role supports LensCrafters as a destination for vision needs in the community by delivering sales results, helping customers select frames and lenses, and contributing to a positive and well-maintained store environment.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
At least 1 year of experience in retail or customer service.
Familiarity with point-of-sale systems, computers, and calculators, along with basic phone and math skills.
Ability to embrace new technology and change with a high level of accuracy.
Ability to sell using sales skills and accountability for sales results, with a desire to meet goals.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Self-motivation and demonstrated ability to multitask and respond flexibly in a quickly changing environment.

Responsibilities

Deliver sales plans and company objectives by cultivating existing customer relationships and building new ones.
Use optical prescriptions to recommend specific lenses and lens coatings.
Assist patients in selecting frames and coordinate frames with optical measurements to help customers choose vision solutions.
Conduct measurements using appropriate optical tools and consult with an Optician as needed.
Contribute to a positive store environment and foster professional relationships with peers, management, doctors, and support staff.
Maintain the appearance of the store and keep displays and inventory clean, attractive, and organized.
Support an inclusive culture by treating customers and colleagues with respect.
