About The Position

Curtis Lumber, a family-owned and operated building materials retailer, is seeking experienced and hard-working individuals to join their team as Sales Associates. This role involves maintaining the store and back storage areas, handling phone calls, building quotes and orders, and assisting customers. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with face-to-face, phone, and electronic sales, utilizing strong customer service and sales skills to achieve company goals. Responsibilities

• Upkeep, cleanliness, maintenance, restocking in the main store and back storage area(s).
• Intercept phone calls.
• Build quotes and orders for pick up or delivery.
• Assist with all customers’ needs as they enter the store.
• Engage in face to face, phone, and electronic sales.
• Utilize exceptional customer service and sales skills to meet or exceed company sales and margin goals.
• Understand the marketplace and know product features.
• Work to meet prospect customers’ needs.
• Effective suggestive and upgrade selling and add on sales.
• Effective closing technique.
• Quote follow up- quote to order conversion.
• Share expertise with others.
