About The Position

The Assistant Store Manager is a leadership role that supports the Store Manager in store operations and helps ensure a safe, customer-focused environment. The Assistant Store Manager performs Store Manager duties when the Store Manager is not present. The role also involves helping customers purchase products, developing customer connections, and maintaining a positive attitude.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience as a supervisor or team lead at a retail store.
• Must be at least 18 years of age, unless otherwise indicated by the hiring manager due to local regulations.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, verbally and in writing.
• Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull a minimum of 20 pounds.
• Ability to work irregular shifts, including weekends, overnight shifts, and holidays.
• Ability to stand and/or walk for at least 8 hours.
• Ability to occasionally lift and/or carry up to 20 pounds from ground to overhead for up to 30 minutes of the workday, with appropriate safety equipment.
• Ability to occasionally climb a ladder to store and retrieve materials and/or place or remove signage.
• Must provide proof of authorization to work in the United States if hired.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
