About The Position

PHOENIX Retail, LLC operates the Express and Bonobos brands. Express is a multichannel apparel brand focused on modern, confident, and effortless style. The Sales Associate joins the Express team and helps provide retail customers with a great in-store shopping experience while handling tasks such as stocking, cleaning, and folding merchandise.

The role includes maintaining a clean, organized, safe, and inviting sales floor, checkout area, fitting room, and stock room; following company policies and procedures; and assisting with product-launch changes according to company standard operating procedures. Associates deliver the customer experience, process transactions accurately and efficiently, address customer service issues or escalate them to Store Management, and promote credit and loyalty programs. Other essential functions may be assigned by a supervisor.

The position requires a high school education or equivalent, at least six months of relevant experience (with 0–2 years listed), proficiency with technology such as iPads and registers, availability that includes nights, weekends, and non-business hours, and the ability to meet the physical requirements. Previous retail experience is preferred. Applicants must be authorized to work full-time in the United States; PHOENIX does not sponsor work visas for this position.

Requirements

• High school education or equivalent.

• Proficiency using technology, including iPads and registers.
• Availability that meets defined criteria, including nights, weekends, and non-business hours.
• Ability to meet the position's physical requirements.
• Customer service skills and the ability to interact with customers.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, particularly with customers, sales leadership, and associates.
• Collaborative skills and ability to work well within a team.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, checkout, fitting room, and stock room so the store is safe and inviting to customers.
• Follow company policies and procedures to help ensure the safety of associates and customers.
• Assist with product-launch changes according to company standard operating procedures.
• Deliver all aspects of the customer experience model.
• Process transactions quickly and accurately to reduce customer wait times.
• Resolve customer service issues and determine a resolution or escalate them as appropriate; communicate issues and resolutions to Store Management.
• Explain the benefits of credit and loyalty programs and encourage customers to participate.
• Perform other essential functions as directed by a supervisor.
