About The Position

As a Sales Associate, you are at the heart of the Pet Care Center experience. You help pet parents find the right products and solutions for their pets while creating a welcoming, safe, and engaging environment. The role is suited to someone who enjoys helping others, learning about pet care, and working as part of a team in a fast-paced retail environment.

The position is performed in a Pet Care Center retail environment and involves active engagement on the sales floor. It includes assisting customers, cashiering and point-of-sale transactions, supporting animal health and safety, and helping keep the store clean, organized, stocked, and appealing. Work requires frequent standing and walking, bending, kneeling, reaching, and lifting, including safely moving merchandise, supplies, or animals weighing up to 50 pounds. The role also involves working near animals and possible exposure to animal dander, odors, noises, and cleaning chemicals. Flexible availability is needed to support operating hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Requirements

• Passion for animals and an interest in pet care.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math skills and comfort handling cash and transactions.
• Strong attention to detail and reliability.
• Ability to safely lift and move merchandise, supplies, or animals weighing up to 50 pounds.

• Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not required.

• Stock shelves, replenish merchandise, and support inventory integrity and stock accuracy.
• Assist with store recovery, merchandising, promotional setups, and daily operational routines.
• Educate customers about products, services, and promotions, and support store sales and service goals.
• Follow company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
• Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned.
