About The Position

The Sales Associate works at an assigned United Pacific store location and assists with operating the facility safely, with a focus on customers and profitability. The role includes daily cash handling, cleaning and maintaining lighting and fixtures, and helping secure inventory and currency to prevent theft and inventory shrinkage. The associate reports to the Store Manager and receives direct supervision within established company policies and procedures. The position requires learning to operate a cash register, computer console, and other work-related equipment and tools. Work is primarily indoors, with some extended periods outdoors, and may involve working in small spaces.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, verbally and in writing.
• Ability to work alone in the store for extended periods.
• Must provide proof of authorization to work in the United States if hired.
• Must be able to work irregular shifts, including weekends, overnight shifts, and holidays.
• Ability to stand and/or walk for at least 8 hours.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull at least 20 pounds.
• Ability to occasionally lift and/or carry up to 20 pounds from ground to overhead, for up to 30 minutes of the workday, using appropriate safety equipment.
• Ability to occasionally climb a ladder to store or retrieve materials and place or remove signage.
• Ability to work in small spaces at times.

• High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
