About The Position

ACE Cash Express is seeking energetic, personable, and sales-oriented Sales Associates. The role offers hourly pay plus bonus incentives and focuses on helping customers identify appropriate products and services while delivering exceptional service and contributing to store performance. Associates work independently while remaining accountable for store results, building trust with customers, and learning ACE’s financial products and services. Services may vary by store and include cash handling, check cashing, lending, bill pay, and card services. Travel is primarily local and may involve visiting more than one store in a day when necessary. The position requires the ability to work 10–12 hours in a confined work area, subject to state-specific labor laws.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work 10–12 hours in a confined work area, subject to state-specific labor laws.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and to sit, walk, reach, stoop, bend, communicate verbally, and actively listen.
• Ability to see clearly at close and distant ranges and adjust focus as needed.
• May occasionally need to lift or move up to 25 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• Two or more years of retail experience is beneficial.
• Spanish proficiency is welcomed in most markets.
• An entrepreneurial spirit and ability to work independently.
• Active listening, effective communication, empathy, and customer-service skills.
• Understanding of ACE’s range of financial products and services.

Responsibilities

• Understand customers’ needs and recommend appropriate ACE products and services.
• Communicate effectively with customers, empathize with their challenges, and build trust.
• Provide exceptional customer service and foster lasting customer relationships.
• Handle services that may include cash handling, check cashing, lending, bill pay, and card services.
• Prioritize accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with industry regulations and safety guidelines.
• Work independently and take accountability for overall store performance.
• Travel locally and, when necessary, visit more than one store in a day.
