About The Position

The Sales Associate represents Tommy Bahama and its island-inspired lifestyle in the store. The role focuses on providing guests with friendly, professional service, sharing product knowledge, helping guests find merchandise, and supporting store sales and service goals. Associates contribute to a relaxed, welcoming shopping environment and participate in store meetings and activities.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of guest and sales experience.
• A get-things-done mindset.
• Ability to collaborate, identify opportunities, and take initiative.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to work varied hours and days, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to approximately 50 pounds frequently.
• Frequent bending, stooping, and kneeling.
• Occasional ladder climbing.
• Ability to stand routinely for the duration of a shift, up to 8 hours.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and help them locate or obtain merchandise that meets their needs and preferences.
• Learn, reference, and share current product knowledge, offering recommendations, fit and fashion wardrobing advice, and add-on suggestions.
• Communicate the brand direction and inform guests about current marketing programs and upcoming events.
• Participate in store-related meetings and work toward sales and service performance goals set by store management.
• Perform other duties as required to support the business.
