Part Time Sales Associate
About The Position
Retail Sales Associates at Helzberg Diamonds are responsible for consistently achieving individual sales goals in support of store sales and profit objectives while providing superior customer service. The role includes selling jewelry and related products, building client relationships, presenting product features and benefits, and supporting the overall operation and presentation of the store. This is a part-time position with a flexible schedule that may include evenings, weekends, and holidays. Compensation includes hourly pay plus commission. Medical, dental, and vision coverage are available to full-time associates only.
Requirements
- Proven history of selling in a commission environment.
- Superior communication skills.
- High internal motivation.
- Flexibility to work with a variety of personalities.
- One to three years of jewelry retail experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Responsibilities
- Generate sales to exceed personal sales goals.
- Explain features and benefits of extended warranties to increase sales.
- Create business through various clienteling methods.
- Deliver compelling sales presentations based on the company's sales training.
- Involve fellow teammates in sales presentations to address customer objections and close additional sales.
- Provide outstanding customer service to every Helzberg Diamonds guest.
- Participate in store operations, including merchandising, displays, and maintenance.
