About The Position

J.Jill is seeking a passionate, customer-focused, results-driven part-time Sales Associate to create a welcoming and positive shopping experience. The role involves building customer relationships, providing personalized service and styling advice, helping customers find products, and contributing to store sales goals. Associates develop knowledge of J.Jill merchandise and work with the team to maintain store presentation and complete operational tasks.

• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
• Ability to perform the physical requirements of the role, including extensive standing, walking, reaching, bending, pushing and pulling; maneuvering around the store; hanging and folding merchandise; climbing ladders; operating POS registers and company mobile devices; occasionally operating a trash compactor where applicable and using a hand truck; lifting and carrying up to 30 pounds; and participating in joint or team lifts.

• Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Build meaningful connections with customers through personalized service and styling advice.
• Help customers find suitable products and provide a seamless, enjoyable shopping experience while contributing to sales goals.
• Develop a strong understanding of J.Jill merchandise to provide guidance and recommendations.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards and execute floor sets.
• Participate in store operations, including marketing, product processing and replenishment, markdowns and promotions, store cleanliness, and backroom organization.
• Work with team members to create a positive and supportive work environment.
• Address customer needs and concerns in a friendly, solution-oriented manner.
• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned to help the store succeed.
