About The Position
As a Sales Associate, you represent Von Maur and contribute to its reputation for customer service. You help create a positive and lasting customer shopping experience by building customer relationships, sharing product and service knowledge, completing transactions, and maintaining your department. The role offers a base wage of $15.00–$17.00 per hour, plus commission and overtime eligibility. Actual wages are determined by individual qualifications, and commission may vary by department.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers sincerely, be friendly, and thank each customer.
- Develop customer relationships to grow sales.
- Highlight product knowledge and store services to enhance the customer experience.
- Process POS transactions and enter account information.
- Maintain a visually appealing and clean department.
- Achieve individual sales and account goals.
- Be available to work day, evening, and weekend shifts.
