About The Position

PHOENIX Retail, LLC is a retail platform operating the Express and Bonobos brands. Express is a multichannel apparel brand with more than 400 retail and outlet stores in the United States and Puerto Rico, along with an online store and mobile app. The Sales Associate at the Gonzales Outlets is responsible for providing retail customers with a great in-store shopping experience while helping with tasks such as stocking, cleaning, and folding merchandise.

The role supports a clean, safe, and inviting store environment and follows company policies and procedures. Sales Associates deliver the customer experience, process transactions accurately and promptly, resolve or escalate customer service issues, and encourage customers to participate in credit and loyalty programs. Other essential functions may be assigned by a supervisor.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 6 months of relevant job experience; 0–2 years listed as the experience range.
• Proficiency using technology such as iPads and registers.
• Availability that meets defined criteria, including nights, weekends, and non-business hours.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the role.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to interact with customers.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, specifically with customers, the sales leadership team, and associates.
• Demonstrated collaborative skills and ability to work well within a team.

Nice To Haves

• Previous retail experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, checkout area, fitting room, and stock room.
• Follow company policies and procedures to help ensure the safety of associates and customers.
• Assist with product launch changes according to company standard operating procedures.
• Deliver all aspects of the customer experience model.
• Process transactions quickly and accurately to reduce customer wait times.
• Resolve customer service issues or escalate them as appropriate, and communicate issues and resolutions to Store Management.
• Explain the benefits of credit and loyalty member programs and encourage customer participation.
• Perform other essential functions as directed by a supervisor.
