About The Position

Primark is seeking a Seasonal Sales Associate to join their team. This role focuses on providing customers with an amazing in-store experience, maintaining the shop floor and stockroom, and processing transactions efficiently at the till points. The position involves receiving and unpacking deliveries, ensuring products are correctly priced, and upholding Primark's high standards.

Requirements

• Ability to constantly stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8 hours per shift) on hard-surface floors.
• Ability to frequently bend, stoop, crouch, and reach at or above shoulder level.
• Ability to frequently lift, carry, push, and pull merchandise and fixtures weighing up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to occasionally participate in team lifts for items weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to constantly perform tasks requiring manual dexterity, including handling merchandise, operating cash registers or other point of sale systems, and using handheld devices.
• Ability to move throughout the sales floor and stockroom.
• Occasional use of stairs or ladders where applicable.
• Occasional work in varying temperatures, including in outdoor areas or storage spaces.
• Must be 18 years or older to operate balers, manual pallet jacks, or electric pallet jacks (if trained).

Responsibilities

• Providing customers with an amazing experience by assisting with sizes, styles, purchases, or returns.
• Setting up a good-looking shop floor with full shelves, tidy fitting rooms, and the latest fashions.
• Maintaining a tidy and well-organized stockroom.
• Delivering a fast, friendly, efficient experience at till points, processing queries, voids, and returns.
• Receiving, unpacking, and checking off new deliveries.
• Getting products onto the shop floor and ensuring they are correctly priced.
• Ensuring all tasks meet Primark's high standards.
