About The Position

As a Sales Associate, you are the first face of the Carter’s brand for growing families. You welcome customers and help them find products for the milestones in their parenting journey, from baby essentials to back-to-school needs. You work in a welcoming and inclusive retail environment, provide attentive service, and help maintain a positive shopping experience.

Compensation ranges from $15.00 to $17.00 per hour, based on experience and location. Schedules may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.

Requirements

• Positive, solutions-oriented mindset.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds as needed, with frequent bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, and pulling.
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods and climb up and down a ladder.
• Availability that may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers warmly and assist them with product styles, features, and benefits.
• Proactively resolve customer issues and assist multiple customers in a busy retail environment.
• Support omnichannel customer needs to help ensure a positive shopping experience.
• Execute and expedite point-of-sale/register transactions.
• Complete floor replenishment and shipment tasks as needed.
• Explain current promotional events and the brand loyalty program, including credit, to customers.
• Help minimize store loss by providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a safe, clean store.
