About The Position

As a Sales Associate, you will be the first face of the Carter’s brand for growing families. You’ll welcome customers and help them find products for new babies, first days of school, and other moments in their parenting journey. You’ll work in a welcoming and inclusive retail environment that values and develops team members’ skills and talents.

The role focuses on delivering a positive customer experience by assisting with products and omnichannel shopping, resolving customer issues, processing transactions, replenishing merchandise, and maintaining a safe, clean store. Requirements

• A positive, solutions-oriented mindset.

• Effective and professional verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds as needed and frequently bend, stoop, reach, push, and pull.
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods and climb up and down a ladder.
• Availability that may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers with a warm greeting and assist them with product styles, features, and benefits.
• Proactively resolve customer issues and serve multiple customers in a busy retail environment.
• Assist customers with omnichannel needs to support a positive shopping experience.
• Execute and expedite point-of-sale and register transactions.
• Complete floor replenishment and shipment tasks as needed.
• Explain current promotional events and the brand loyalty program, including credit, to customers.
• Help minimize store loss by providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a safe, clean store.
