The Furniture Market Clearance Center is looking for an outgoing, customer-focused Part-Time Sales Associate to join our team in High Point. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys helping customers, has a natural ability to connect with people, and wants a consistent Friday and Saturday schedule. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for a consistent two-day schedule while gaining sales experience in a fast-paced furniture retail environment. Requirements
- A positive, energetic personality and strong people skills
- A customer-first mindset and willingness to help solve problems
- Motivation to meet individual and team sales goals
- Comfortable learning basic sales and technology systems
Nice To Haves
- Previous retail, sales, or customer service experience preferred
- Furniture or interior design experience is a plus, but not required
Responsibilities
- Welcome customers and provide a friendly, professional shopping experience
- Learn each customer's style, needs, and budget to help them find the right pieces
- Offer suggestions and product knowledge to help customers feel confident in their purchases
- Enter orders, process payments, and assist with customer follow-up
- Stay up to date on inventory, promotions, and sales tools
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and inviting showroom
- Build relationships that create repeat and referral business
