About The Position
Wine & Beyond is Western Canada’s largest liquor store, known for its extensive selection of wines, spirits, and beers. We are seeking a motivated and dependable Sales Associate to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals with a positive attitude, a willingness to learn, and a passion for customer service, teamwork, and fast-paced environments. The Sales Associate will support daily store operations by ensuring excellent customer experiences and maintaining a clean, organized, and compliant store.
Requirements
- Previous retail or customer service experience is an asset.
- Valid ProServe Certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand/walk for most of the shift.
- Reliable, positive, and willing to support the team to meet shared goals.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers, answer questions, and provide product recommendations.
- Operate the cash register, process payments, and issue receipts.
- Restock shelves, receive deliveries, and complete basic inventory checks.
- Check customer ID to verify legal purchasing age.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized store environment.
