About The Position

NORMAN’S, an employee-owned Hallmark Gold Crown retailer, is seeking a part-time Sales Associate for its location at Market Place at Garden State Park in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. The role helps customers share emotions and celebrate important occasions by delivering a genuine, memorable customer experience. Sales Associates contribute to a caring team atmosphere, serve as an accessible source of product knowledge on the sales floor, and help the store achieve its goals. The position requires initiative, teamwork, and excellence throughout customer interactions.

Requirements

Must be at least 16 years of age.
Ability to work a flexible schedule that meets business needs, including events, holidays, evenings, and weekends.
Strong aptitude for basic math, including percentages and general arithmetic.
Ability to continuously stand and walk; frequently push and pull; occasionally bend, stoop, crawl, reach above the shoulders, kneel, and climb a ladder; and carry up to 40 pounds.
Initiative, teamwork, and a customer-focused approach.

Responsibilities

Support the store’s Customer CARE program by connecting with customers, building relationships, and earning their business.
Put customers first in all interactions.
Consistently meet store-specific Crown Rewards enrollment goals.
Learn and efficiently use the register system, ensuring a pleasant point-of-sale experience and accurate cash handling.
Use selling skills during customer interactions to build sales and customer satisfaction.
Learn product knowledge for all merchandise and apply it when assisting customers.
Maintain and restock displays as directed by store management.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
