About The Position

J.Jill is seeking a passionate, customer-focused, results-driven part-time Sales Associate to build customer relationships and provide a welcoming, positive shopping experience. The associate offers personalized service and styling advice, helps customers find products, and contributes to store sales goals. The role also supports merchandising, store operations, and a positive team environment. Requirements

• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
• Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position, including extensive standing, walking, reaching, bending, pushing and pulling, maneuvering around the store, hanging and folding merchandise, climbing ladders, operating POS registers and company mobile devices, occasionally operating a trash compactor where applicable and using a hand truck, and lifting and carrying up to 30 pounds, including team lifting when needed.

• Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Build meaningful connections with customers by providing personalized service and styling advice.
• Help customers find products and contribute to sales goals while making shopping seamless and enjoyable.
• Develop product knowledge to offer guidance and recommendations on J.Jill merchandise.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards and execute floor sets.
• Participate in store operations, including marketing, product processing and replenishment, markdowns and promotions, store cleanliness, and backroom organization.
• Work with team members to create a positive and supportive work environment.
• Address customer needs and concerns with a friendly, solution-oriented approach.
• Perform additional assigned responsibilities to help the store succeed.
