About The Position
The Sales Associate creates an outstanding optical experience for guests by combining product knowledge, personal service, and an understanding of customers’ needs. The role supports Target Optical’s mission to provide quality vision care products and services at a great value, featuring trusted brands and fashionable eyewear. The associate helps customers identify eyewear suited to their needs, lifestyle, and preferences while contributing to sales goals and building lasting relationships. The role also includes maintaining a clean, organized, and visually appealing store, collaborating with colleagues and leadership, and fostering an inclusive and respectful environment. Hands-on training and collaboration with experienced professionals support continued learning and development.
Requirements
- Enthusiasm for helping others and creating positive customer experiences.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to engage customers and drive sales.
- Comfort using technology and accuracy with transactions.
- Interest in eyewear and fashion trends, with the ability to help customers find a suitable look.
- Self-motivation, resilience, adaptability in a fast-paced environment, and willingness to learn and grow.
- Retail or customer service experience is a plus.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in optical retail or familiarity with optical products.
