About The Position

Dufry by Avolta is hiring a Sales Associate to work at Boston Logan Airport. The role focuses on delivering excellent customer service, driving sales, assisting customers with product selection, and maintaining store operations. Duties also include transporting products from stores to international flights to comply with Customs requirements. The position is full-time and requires availability any day of the week, including weekends and holidays.

Requirements

Luxury sales experience.
Ability to interact with diverse personalities.
High degree of interpersonal skills.
Ability to lift 20 pounds.
Must be over age 21, as required by law to sell alcohol and tobacco products.
Prior experience operating a cash register.

Responsibilities

Transport products from stores to international flights to comply with Customs requirements.
Drive sales through superior customer service.
Acknowledge and greet customers as they enter the store.
Follow company policies, cash handling policies, and special store loss prevention procedures.
Communicate effectively with customers, fellow employees, and store management.
Operate a cash register effectively.
Know the basic store layout, assist customers with product selection, and answer questions about the store.
Be familiar with surrounding businesses and offerings within the facility.
Communicate pricing, out-of-date merchandise, and inventory issues to management.
Assist other store employees in maintaining store security.
Stock merchandise.
Inform management of out-of-stock situations.
Help maintain a neat, clean, and organized store, including sweeping, dusting, and straightening merchandise on fixtures and displays.
Assist with book inventory processes, including ordering, receiving, and returns.
Perform related work as assigned.
