About The Position

The Sales Associate’s primary function is to sell and promote Perry Ellis merchandise by delivering the company’s customer service standards. The role includes greeting customers, helping them find products or explaining how products are used, and processing purchases at the POS register. Associates also support sales goals, maintain product and promotion knowledge, and help create a positive store experience through customer engagement and store upkeep.

Responsibilities

Interact with customers courteously and in a friendly manner, including maintaining eye contact and smiling.
Generate sales in accordance with Perry Ellis customer service standards.
Build a repeat customer base through data capture for the PE Loyalty Program.
Maintain knowledge of products, promotions, and special events to communicate effectively with customers.
Foster a positive store experience by treating customers and staff fairly and consistently.
Maintain floor coverage, acknowledge every customer, and prioritize customers over assigned tasks.
Remain productive throughout the shift by replenishing products, maintaining visual displays, and engaging with customers during idle time.
Report to work on time.
Demonstrate flexibility with the schedule.
Understand individual and store sales goals.
Follow operational policies and procedures.
Follow management guidance to execute visual standards, recovery, and replenishment.
