About The Position

The Sales Associate works at an assigned United Pacific store location and assists in operating the facility safely, with a focus on customers and profitability. The role includes daily cash handling, cleaning and maintaining lighting and fixtures, and protecting inventory and currency from theft and shrinkage. The associate reports to the Store Manager and receives direct supervision under established company policies and procedures. The position requires learning to operate a cash register, computer console, and other equipment and tools related to assigned tasks.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must be able to communicate effectively in English, verbally and in writing.
Must be able to work alone in the store for extended periods.
Must provide proof of authorization to work in the United States if hired.
Must be able to work irregular shifts, including weekends, overnight shifts, and holidays.
Must be able to stand and/or walk for at least 8 hours.
Must be physically able to lift, push, and pull a minimum of 20 pounds.
Must occasionally lift and/or carry up to 20 pounds from ground to overhead for up to 30 minutes of the workday, using appropriate safety equipment.
Must occasionally climb a ladder to store or retrieve materials and place or remove signage.
Must be capable of working in small spaces at times.

High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
