About The Position

PHOENIX Retail, LLC is seeking a Retail Sales Associate for its Express brand. The Sales Associate provides customers with a great in-store shopping experience and assists with operational tasks such as stocking, cleaning, and folding merchandise. The position also involves maintaining a safe, clean, and inviting store; supporting product launches; processing transactions; resolving or escalating service issues; and encouraging participation in credit and loyalty programs. Other essential functions may be assigned by a supervisor.

Requirements

• High school education or equivalent.
• At least 6 months of relevant job experience; the posting lists 0–2 years.
• Proficiency using technology such as iPads and registers.
• Availability that meets defined criteria, including nights, weekends, and non-business hours.
• Ability to meet the position’s physical requirements.
• Customer service skills and ability to interact with customers.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, particularly with customers, sales leadership, and associates.
• Collaborative skills and ability to work well within a team.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, checkout area, fitting room, and stock room so the store is safe and inviting to customers.
• Follow company policies and procedures to help ensure the safety of associates and customers.
• Assist with product launch changes according to company standard operating procedures.
• Deliver all aspects of the customer experience model.
• Process transactions quickly and accurately to reduce customer wait times.
• Resolve customer service issues when possible, or escalate them, and communicate issues and resolutions to Store Management.
• Explain the benefits of credit and loyalty programs and encourage customers to participate.
• Assist with stocking, cleaning, folding merchandise, and other tasks as directed by a supervisor.
