About The Position

As a Sales Associate, you are expected to deliver exceptional customer service that is friendly, genuine, and professional, always prioritizing customer needs. You will enhance the shopping experience by actively sharing product knowledge, assisting customers with gift selections, cards, or wrapping, and creating engaging and interactive interactions both in-person and over the phone. A key part of the role involves maintaining enticing, neat, tidy, and vibrant product displays. Your dedication to customer service and willingness to assist will encourage repeat visits. The position offers continuous opportunities to demonstrate initiative and passion for products and people, from display creation to service assistance.

Responsibilities

  • Create a welcoming environment by engaging with customers through friendly and genuine service to meet their needs.
  • Ask open-ended questions and use product knowledge to make thoughtful recommendations as you actively sell.
  • Ensure a vibrant store by supporting store visual merchandising and replenishment standards, maintaining a neat, tidy, shoppable, and inviting presentation.
  • Leverage key campaigns and services, such as new item launches, promotions, membership, and ship-to-home.
  • Leverage training and communication tools (e.g., Cognition, Paper reSource, InsidePS) to continuously educate yourself on products and services, supporting the store with this knowledge to give customers a great experience.
  • Protect company assets by adhering to all inventory and loss prevention standards, properly completing any inventories and initiatives.
  • Work on the selling floor, which requires physical activity (i.e., prolonged standing, repetitive bending, lifting, climbing).
