About The Position

J.Jill is seeking a passionate, customer-focused, results-driven Part-Time Sales Associate to build customer relationships and provide a welcoming, positive shopping experience in the store and community. The role involves personalized service and styling advice, product guidance, supporting sales goals, maintaining merchandising and store standards, and working collaboratively with the team. The position requires a flexible schedule that may include weekends, evenings, and holidays, and includes a range of physical tasks such as standing, walking, handling merchandise, climbing ladders, and lifting or team-lifting items up to 30 pounds.

Requirements

• Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
• Passion for fashion, styling, and creating a welcoming customer experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Enthusiastic team player with a positive, solution-oriented mindset.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
• Ability to perform the listed physical tasks, including lifting and carrying up to 30 pounds and team lifting.

Responsibilities

• Build meaningful connections with customers through personalized service and styling advice.
• Help customers find suitable products and provide a seamless, enjoyable shopping experience while contributing to sales goals.
• Develop knowledge of J.Jill merchandise to provide guidance and recommendations.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards and execute floor sets.
• Participate in store operations, including marketing, product processing and replenishment, markdowns and promotions, store cleanliness, and backroom organization.
• Work with team members to foster a positive and supportive work environment.
• Address customer needs and concerns with a friendly, solution-oriented approach.
• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned to support store success.
