About The Position

The Sales Associate delivers quality eye care and eyewear experiences, helping establish LensCrafters as a premier destination for vision needs. The role supports sales objectives, assists customers with lens and frame selection, takes optical measurements, and contributes to an organized, inclusive, and professional store environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of experience in retail or customer service.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale systems, computers, and calculators, along with basic phone and math skills.
• Ability to embrace new technology and change while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
• Ability to sell using sales skills and accountability for results, with a desire to meet goals.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Self-motivation and demonstrated ability to multitask and respond flexibly in a rapidly changing environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver sales plans and company objectives by cultivating existing customer relationships and building new ones.
• Use optical prescriptions to recommend specific lenses and lens coatings.
• Assist patients in selecting frames and coordinate frames with optical measurements to help customers choose vision solutions.
• Conduct measurements with appropriate optical tools and consult with an Optician as needed.
• Contribute to a positive store environment and build professional relationships with peers, management, doctors, and support staff.
• Maintain the appearance of the store and keep displays and inventory clean, attractive, and organized.
• Promote an inclusive culture by treating customers and colleagues with respect.
