About The Position

ACE Cash Express is seeking an energetic, personable, sales-oriented Sales Associate to help customers identify appropriate products and services while supporting store operations. The role combines customer service and sales with financial services that may vary by store, including cash handling, check cashing, lending, bill pay, and card services. Associates are expected to prioritize accuracy, confidentiality, regulatory compliance, and safety, and to take accountability for overall store performance.

The position involves working scheduled shifts, typically eight hours and occasionally up to 12 hours, in a secure, enclosed work area. Travel is primarily local and may involve visiting more than one store in a day when necessary. California-required meal and rest breaks are provided. The position is part-time and pays $17.25–$18.50 per hour, with bonus incentives.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to listen actively, communicate effectively, empathize with customers, and provide exceptional service.
• Ability to understand ACE’s financial products and services.
• Ability to work scheduled shifts, typically eight hours and occasionally up to 12 hours, in a secure, enclosed work area.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including standing for extended periods; sitting, walking, reaching, stooping, bending, verbal communication, and active listening; seeing clearly at close and distant ranges and adjusting focus; and occasionally lifting or moving up to 25 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• Two or more years of retail experience is beneficial.
