About The Position

This is a part-time Sales Associate position. The role involves assisting customers, handling transactions, managing inventory, and maintaining store cleanliness and safety standards.

Requirements

Ability to greet customers and determine their needs.
Skill in assisting customers with selections and emphasizing selling points.
Proficiency in using a POS system.
Ability to prepare sales slips or contracts.
Capability to receive payment or obtain credit authorization.
Skill in stocking shelves neatly and rotating stock.
Ability to check for outdated goods.
Experience in preparing and maintaining inventory.
Ability to count, sort, or weigh incoming products.
Skill in examining stock for damage or infestation.
Ability to compile reports on inventory and stock.
Knowledge of storage methods and stock location determination.
Ability to store articles in appropriate locations.
Willingness to assist with store cleanliness.
Adherence to safety and GMP requirements.

Responsibilities

Greet customers and determine their needs.
Assist customers in locating and selecting merchandise.
Emphasize selling points of products.
Operate the POS system as a cashier.
Prepare sales slips or contracts and process payments.
Bag merchandise for customers.
Note out-of-stock items and special customer needs.
Display and stock new merchandise.
Maintain neatness on shelves according to product type, brand, and size.
Rotate stock and check for outdated goods.
Prepare and maintain inventory of stock.
Verify receipt of incoming products against requisitions or invoices.
Examine stock for conformance to specifications and check for damage or infestation.
Compile reports on inventory adjustments, stock spoilage/damage, location changes, and shipment refusals.
Determine storage methods, identification, and stock location based on various factors (temperature, humidity, weight limits, turnover, etc.).
Store articles in appropriate locations.
Assist with maintaining store cleanliness (sweeping, mopping, washing windows, cleaning restrooms).
Comply with safety and GMP requirements.
