About The Position

The Sales Associate provides Range USA customers with assistance and product knowledge to help them have the experience they are seeking. The role focuses on converting customers into buyers through knowledgeable selling and store operations, while delivering friendly, efficient service. Sales Associates also support range check-in, firearm rentals, compliance processes, and ecommerce order picking when assigned.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
1–2 years of customer service sales experience, preferably in specialty retail.
Ability to understand, recall, and follow complex compliance regulations.
Ability to handle highly confidential information.
Availability to work a flexible schedule, including hours needed to open or close the store, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Must be 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service aligned with Range USA’s mission and exceed customer expectations while building lasting relationships.
Greet customers and facilitate their experience.
Convert customers into buyers by asking for the sale and supporting the experience they want.
Help customers leave with the complete package supporting their main purchase.
Inform customers about Range USA services, discounts, exclusive offers, sales, and promotions.
Conduct range customer check-in efficiently and in a friendly manner.
Maintain the range timer to track customer time properly.
Follow an efficient and compliant range firearm rental process.
Use radios to communicate with the Range Safety Officer about safety and customer issues.
Answer questions about product pricing, features, benefits, and availability.
Comply with applicable government agency requirements, including Form 4473 and background check processes.
Stay up to date on new products and industry news.
When assigned as an ecommerce picker, check the pickup dashboard every hour and pick new orders.
