About The Position

The Sales Associate is responsible for maintaining customer service as per company standards, generating sales, housekeeping, merchandising, signing, pricing, point of sale operations, processing freight, and loss prevention in adherence to all company policies and store standards. This role involves greeting and acknowledging every customer, answering customer questions, and helping customers find products. The associate will also answer incoming phone calls, maintain constant radio communication with all associates, and possess comprehensive knowledge of the products sold. Maintaining an awareness of all product knowledge information and merchandise promotions, and assisting in floor moves, merchandising, display maintenance, and store housekeeping are also key responsibilities. Additional duties include helping in other departments when needed, performing daily cleaning tasks such as vacuuming, replacing trash bags, and sweeping, and other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Proven written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt to rapidly changing work environments and to shift priorities accordingly.
• Familiar with how to operate a computer system and email.
• Strong attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

• Preferably familiar with standard retail concepts and practices.
