About The Position

PHOENIX Retail, LLC is a retail platform operating the Express and Bonobos brands. Express is a multichannel apparel brand focused on modern, confident, and effortless style. The Sales Associate joins Express at the St. Augustine Premium store and helps provide retail customers with a great in-store shopping experience. The role also includes stocking, cleaning, folding merchandise, and other tasks as directed by a supervisor.

The associate maintains clean and organized sales, checkout, fitting-room, and stock-room areas; follows company policies and procedures to support safety; and assists with product-launch changes according to company standard operating procedures. The role delivers the customer experience, processes transactions accurately and efficiently, resolves or escalates customer service issues while communicating them to Store Management, and encourages participation in credit and loyalty programs by explaining their benefits.

The position requires a high school education or equivalent, at least six months of relevant experience within the stated range of 0–2 years, technology proficiency, availability that includes nights, weekends, and non-business hours, and the ability to meet physical requirements. Requirements

• High school education or equivalent.
• 0–2 years of relevant job experience, with a minimum of six months.
• Proficiency with technology, including iPads and registers.
• Availability meeting defined criteria, including nights, weekends, and non-business hours.
• Ability to meet the position’s physical requirements.
• Customer service skills and ability to interact with customers.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, particularly with customers, sales leadership, and associates.

Responsibilities

• Maintain clean and organized sales-floor, checkout, fitting-room, and stock-room areas.
• Follow company policies and procedures to help ensure the safety of associates and customers.
• Assist with product-launch changes according to company standard operating procedures.
• Deliver all aspects of the customer experience model.
• Process transactions quickly and accurately to reduce customer wait times.
• Resolve customer service issues when possible, or escalate them; communicate issues and resolutions to Store Management.
• Explain credit and loyalty program benefits and encourage customers to participate.
• Assist with stocking, cleaning, folding merchandise, and other tasks as directed by a supervisor.
