About The Position

MY SISTER'S CLOSET, located at West Cliff Plaza in Newport Beach, CA, is looking for a Part Time Sales Associate. This role is ideal for someone interested in fashion and passionate about helping others look their best. If you love fashion, people, and great bargains, this position is for you. The ideal candidate has retail and customer service experience, a deep interest in fashion, current trends, clothing, and designer labels. The position offers competitive pay based on retail experience plus commission.

Requirements

• Prior retail or customer service experience preferred
• Reliable, team-oriented, and energetic
• Retail experience preferred
• Customer service oriented – must enjoy working with people
• Prior experience using a computerized point-of-sale (POS) system preferred
• Good communication skills
• Availability to work weekend shift(s) and holidays as needed required
• Position requires standing for long periods of time, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and lifting at least 30+ pounds

Nice To Haves

• Interest in home furnishings, interior design, or luxury resale a plus

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in a friendly and helpful manner on the sales floor
• Support sales associates, intake staff, and store leadership as needed
• Restock and rotate merchandise to ensure the floor is fully represented
• Assist with opening and closing duties as directed by store leadership
• Follow all company policies, procedures, and loss prevention guidelines
