About The Position

PHOENIX Retail, LLC is a retail platform operating the Express and Bonobos brands. Express is a multichannel apparel brand focused on modern, confident and effortless style. The Sales Associate provides a great in-store shopping experience while assisting with additional tasks such as stocking, cleaning and folding merchandise. The role is at the Kenwood Town Center store. Applicants must be currently authorized to work full-time in the United States; PHOENIX does not sponsor work visas for this position.

Requirements

• High school education or equivalent.
• At least 6 months of relevant job experience; the stated experience range is 0–2 years.
• Proficiency with technology, including iPads and registers.
• Availability that meets defined criteria, including nights, weekends and non-business hours.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the role.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to interact with customers.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, particularly with customers, the sales leadership team and associates.
• Demonstrated collaboration skills and ability to work well within a team.

Nice To Haves

• Previous retail experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, checkout, fitting room and stock room so the store is safe and inviting to customers.
• Follow company policies and procedures to ensure the safety of associates and customers.
• Assist with product launch changes according to company standard operating procedures.
• Deliver all aspects of the customer experience model.
• Process transactions quickly and accurately to reduce customer wait times.
• Resolve customer service issues positively, determine an appropriate resolution or escalate when needed, and communicate issues and resolutions to Store Management.
• Explain the benefits of credit and loyalty member programs and encourage customer participation.
• Perform other essential functions as directed by a supervisor.
• Assist with stocking, cleaning and folding merchandise.
