About The Position

For over 60 years, World Market has searched the globe for design inspiration, emerging trends, and time-honored handicrafts, to bring stylish home décor, quality furniture, thoughtful gifts, and a large assortment of international foods, beverages, and candy. The Sales Associate role involves a variety of duties focused on customer service, making the shopping experience enjoyable, sharing product knowledge, processing transactions, maintaining merchandising standards, and contributing to a safe shopping environment. World Market operates over 240 stores across the country in addition to its ecommerce site, with plans for continued growth.

Requirements

• A can-do attitude and commitment to contributing to a collaborative, open minded, adaptable, honest, and respectful culture.
• Excellent communication & time management skills.
• Ability to initiate a conversation.
• Minimum Age 16 years.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Share your passion and knowledge for our products and help customers find the perfect “anything.”
• Checkout customer in store and buy online pick up in store purchases.
• Maintain merchandising, pricing, signing and sales floor replenishment standards.
• Participate in processing freight and truck unload as needed.
• Contribute to a safe shopping environment.
