About The Position

PHOENIX Retail, LLC operates the Express and Bonobos brands. Express is a multichannel apparel brand focused on modern, confident and effortless style, with retail and outlet stores, an online store and a mobile app. The role is at the Sunrise Mall store.

The Sales Associate provides a great in-store shopping experience for retail customers and assists with tasks such as stocking, cleaning and folding merchandise. The associate helps maintain safe, clean and inviting store areas, supports product launches, processes transactions, resolves customer-service issues and promotes credit and loyalty programs. Other essential functions may be assigned by a supervisor.

Requirements

• High school education or equivalent.
• 0–2 years of relevant job experience; minimum of 6 months.
• Proficiency using technology such as iPads and registers.
• Availability that meets defined criteria, including nights, weekends and non-business hours.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the role.
• Customer service skills and ability to interact with customers.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, especially with customers, sales leadership and associates.
• Demonstrated collaborative skills and ability to work well within a team.

Nice To Haves

• Previous retail experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain clean and organized sales floor, checkout, fitting room and stock room areas so the store is safe and inviting.
• Follow company policies and procedures to help ensure the safety of associates and customers.
• Assist with product launch changes according to company standard operating procedures.
• Deliver all aspects of the customer experience model.
• Process transactions quickly and accurately to reduce customer wait time.
• Resolve customer-service issues positively, determine or escalate resolutions, and communicate issues and resolutions to Store Management.
• Explain the benefits of credit and loyalty programs and encourage customers to participate.
• Assist with additional tasks such as stocking, cleaning and folding merchandise.
• Perform other essential functions as directed by a supervisor.
