About The Position

The Sales Associate achieves sales goals and develops lasting client relationships by providing the highest level of customer service and complying with company policies, procedures, and directives. The role works in a creative, fast-paced fashion retail environment and supports sales, customer service, and store operations.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of retail experience.

Responsibilities

• Meet sales goals and use elevated levels of sales and service to maximize sales performance.
• Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of merchandise and maintain an interest in the fashion industry and market trends.
• Monitor sale details after closing, including shipping, alterations when applicable, and special requests, to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Comply with all sales-related policies and procedures.
• Provide the highest level of customer service.
• Build and maintain repeat clientele using the client book.
• Resolve client problems and complaints quickly and effectively to ensure client satisfaction.
• Keep the selling floor and merchandise neat, organized, and stocked.
• Assist with maintaining inventory in the stockroom and on the selling floor.
• Assist with stock, shipping, receiving protocols and policies, and related paperwork.
• Participate in inventories.
• Comply with all Point-of-Sale policies and procedures and properly execute relevant register functions.
• Adhere to the work schedule, including time and attendance requirements.
• Participate in relevant training and development seminars, programs, and meetings as directed by store management.
