About The Position

The Sales Associate sets the standard of quality in eye care and eyewear by ensuring patients and customers have a positive experience. The role supports LensCrafters as a premier destination for vision needs in the community. The associate helps customers choose frames and vision solutions, uses optical prescriptions to recommend lenses and coatings, and contributes to store sales and a welcoming store environment.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
At least 1 year of experience in retail or customer service.
Familiarity with point-of-sale systems, computers, and calculators, with basic phone and math skills.
Ability to embrace new technology and change with a high level of accuracy.
Ability to sell using sales skills and be accountable for sales results, with a desire to meet goals.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Self-motivation and demonstrated ability to multitask and respond flexibly in a quickly changing environment.

Responsibilities

Deliver sales plans and company objectives by cultivating existing customer relationships and building new ones.
Use optical prescriptions to recommend specific lenses and lens coatings.
Assist patients with frame selection and coordinate frames with optical measurements to help customers choose vision solutions.
Conduct measurements using appropriate optical tools and consult with an Optician as needed.
Contribute to a positive store environment and build professional relationships with peers, management, doctors, and support staff.
Maintain the appearance of the store and keep displays and inventory clean, attractive, and organized.
Promote an inclusive culture by treating customers and colleagues with respect.
