About The Position

As a Sales Associate, you will be the first face of the Carter’s brand for growing families. You will welcome customers, help them find products for babies and young children, and support them through important moments in their parenting journey. You will work in a welcoming and inclusive environment that values and develops employees’ skills and talents.

The role involves providing customer assistance in a busy retail environment, completing sales transactions, replenishing merchandise, supporting shipment tasks, and communicating current promotions and the brand loyalty program. Associates help maintain a safe, clean store and deliver a positive shopping experience, including through omnichannel support as needed. Availability may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers with a warm greeting and provide assistance with product styles, features, and benefits.
• Proactively resolve customer issues and assist multiple customers in a busy retail environment.
• Meet customer needs by providing omnichannel assistance as needed to ensure a positive shopping experience.
• Execute and expedite point-of-sale/register transactions.
• Complete floor replenishment and shipment tasks as needed.
• Explain current promotional events and the brand loyalty program, including credit, to customers.
• Help minimize store loss by providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a safe, clean store.
