About The Position

The Sales Associate delivers LensCrafters’ standard of quality in eye care and eyewear by helping patients and customers have a positive experience and positioning the store as a destination for vision needs. The role focuses on meeting sales objectives, building customer relationships, recommending optical products based on prescriptions, and assisting customers with frames and vision solutions. The associate also contributes to an organized, welcoming, and inclusive store environment and works with peers, management, doctors, support staff, and opticians as needed.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
At least 1 year of experience in retail or customer service.
Familiarity with point-of-sale systems, computers, and calculators, along with basic phone and math skills.
Ability to embrace new technology and change with a high level of accuracy.
Ability to sell using sales skills and take accountability for sales results, with a desire to meet goals.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Self-motivation and demonstrated ability to multitask and respond flexibly in a quickly changing environment.

Responsibilities

Meet sales plans and company objectives by cultivating existing customer relationships and building new ones.
Use optical prescriptions to recommend specific lenses and lens coatings.
Assist patients in selecting frames and coordinate frames with optical measurements to help customers choose vision solutions.
Conduct measurements using appropriate optical tools and consult with an optician as needed.
Contribute to a positive store environment and foster professional relationships with peers, management, doctors, and support staff.
Maintain the appearance of the store and keep displays and inventory clean, attractive, and organized.
Support an inclusive culture by treating customers and colleagues with respect.
