About The Position

ACE Cash Express is hiring energetic, personable, sales-oriented Sales Associates to provide customer service and sell the company’s financial products and services. Compensation includes hourly pay plus bonus incentives. Associates are encouraged to take accountability for store performance, work independently, collaborate with teammates, and build trusting relationships with customers. The role offers flexible schedules and Sundays off; all associates are eligible to participate in the company’s 401(k) plan, subject to the plan document. Work is primarily local, though travel to more than one store in a day may be necessary. The position requires the ability to work 10–12 hours in a confined work area, subject to state labor laws. Reasonable accommodations may be made for the physical demands of the role.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to work independently and embrace accountability for overall store performance.
Ability to listen actively, communicate effectively, and empathize with customers.
Ability to understand ACE’s financial products and services.
Ability to work 10–12 hours in a confined work area, subject to state-specific labor laws.
Ability to meet the role’s physical demands, including standing for extended periods; sitting, walking, reaching, stooping, bending, verbal communication, active listening, and clear near and distance vision with adjustment of focus; occasional lifting or moving of up to 25 lbs.

Nice To Haves

Two or more years of retail experience is beneficial.
Spanish proficiency is welcomed in most markets.

Responsibilities

Understand customers’ needs and recommend appropriate ACE products and services.
Communicate effectively with customers, empathize with their challenges, and build trust.
Provide exceptional customer service to foster lasting relationships.
Handle services that may vary by store, including cash handling, check cashing, lending, bill pay, and card services.
Maintain accuracy and confidentiality and comply with industry regulations and safety guidelines.
Take accountability for overall store performance and contribute to successful store operations.
Travel locally, including to more than one store in a day when necessary.
