About The Position

The Sales Associate’s primary function is to sell and promote Perry Ellis merchandise by executing Perry Ellis customer service standards. Duties include greeting customers, helping them find products or explaining how to use them, and processing purchases at the POS register.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers in a courteous, friendly manner, including maintaining eye contact and smiling.
• Generate maximum sales potential in accordance with Perry Ellis customer service standards.
• Build a repeat customer base through effective PE Loyalty Program data capture.
• Maintain strong knowledge of products, promotions, and special events to communicate effectively with customers.
• Foster a positive store experience by treating customers and staff members fairly and consistently.
• Maintain effective floor coverage, acknowledge every customer, and prioritize customers over assigned tasks.
• Remain productive throughout the shift by replenishing products, maintaining visual displays, and engaging with customers during idle time.
• Report to work on time.
• Demonstrate flexibility with the schedule.
• Understand individual and store sales goals.
• Follow all operational policies and procedures.
• Follow management guidance to execute visual standards, recovery, and replenishment.
