About The Position

PHOENIX Retail, LLC is a retail platform operating the Express and Bonobos brands. Express is a multichannel apparel brand focused on modern, confident, and effortless style. The Sales Associate provides a great in-store shopping experience for retail customers and assists with stocking, cleaning, folding merchandise, and other store tasks. The role is based at the Glenbrook Square store. Applicants must be currently authorized to work full-time in the United States; PHOENIX does not sponsor work visas for this position.

Requirements

• High school education or equivalent.
• At least 6 months of relevant job experience; the posting lists 0–2 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency using technology such as iPads and registers.
• Availability that meets defined criteria, including nights, weekends, and non-business hours.
• Ability to meet the position's physical requirements.
• Customer service skills and ability to interact with customers.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, specifically with customers, the sales leadership team, and associates.
• Demonstrated collaborative skills and ability to work well within a team.
• Currently authorized to work full-time in the United States.

Nice To Haves

• Previous retail experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, checkout, fitting room, and stock room so the store is safe and inviting to customers.
• Follow company policies and procedures to ensure the safety of associates and customers.
• Assist with product launch changes according to company standard operating procedures.
• Deliver all aspects of the customer experience model.
• Process transactions quickly and accurately to reduce customer wait time.
• Resolve customer service issues positively, determine a resolution or escalate as needed, and communicate issues and resolutions to Store Management.
• Explain credit and loyalty member program benefits and encourage customer participation.
• Assist with additional store tasks such as stocking, cleaning, and folding merchandise.
• Perform other essential functions as directed by a supervisor.
