About The Position

Parkway Ford of Lexington is looking for a motivated, customer-focused New Vehicle Sales Consultant to join our team. We are looking for someone who enjoys working with people, is driven to succeed, and wants the opportunity to build a long-term career in automotive sales. Automotive sales experience is helpful, but it is not required. We are willing to train the right person who brings a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to learn.

Requirements

Strong communication and people skills
Self-motivated and goal-oriented
Dependable with a strong work ethic
Comfortable using computers, email, texting, and CRM systems
Ability to follow a structured sales and follow-up process
Willingness to learn Ford products and complete required training
Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record

Nice To Haves

Automotive sales experience is helpful, but it is not required.
Previous automotive or sales experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

Assist customers with selecting the right new Ford vehicle for their needs
Build relationships with customers from the initial visit through delivery and beyond
Demonstrate vehicle features, technology, and available options
Conduct professional vehicle demonstrations and test drives
Follow up with internet leads, phone inquiries, and previous customers
Maintain consistent communication with prospective buyers
Work with sales management to provide customers with a smooth purchasing experience
Stay current on Ford products, incentives, programs, and vehicle technology
Maintain a professional appearance and attitude
Develop repeat and referral business through excellent customer service
